For me this painting represents the solid presence of someone who really listens. Not trying to fix anything, just hearing and understanding. I find that in good friends, and I find that in prayer.
It also represents me hearing the truth of the Spirit's words that tell me I am worthy and I am loved and I am redeemed. Sometimes we need to stop a moment, quiet the noise, and just listen.
